Peace Run – Österreichischer Entwicklungshilfeklub

5|2022

The 21st Austrian Peace Run took place in Vienna’s Prater on 20 May 2022.

Under the motto:

“I run – you donate – we help”

Young and old have come together for many years to support selected aid projects for children and young people. You can also support the run as a sponsor – which we’ve been happy to do since 2016.

This year, the donations go to refugees from Ukraine.

At a time when war is only a few hundred kilometres away and 10 million people have been forced to flee in a very short time, we especially want to do our bit to help.

We can only echo the words of Austrian President Alexander Van der Bellen, speaking to thousands of people on Heldenplatz in Vienna at the #YesWeCare event on 27 March 2022:

“Our solidarity, our compassion and our shared will to live in freedom and peace are stronger than any aggression.”
